Cranio-Sacral Osteopathy
In this course, the focus lies on the bony structures that make up the skull and the spine. The connections between the bones, such as sutures and joints, will be discussed. The structure and functions of the meninges will be examined, and the significance of the inner and outer cerebrospinal fluid spaces will be discussed. Additionally, the course will cover the brain and the spinal cord. The topographical structure of the brain and spinal cord, as well as functional aspects, will be studied and discussed. The cranial nerves and their course and functions will be prominently featured.

Learning Concept:
Sometimes, we simply see better with our hands, especially when we have learned to sense deeply like you. The Anatomy course at BeST-CAT brings together both the hands-on experience, tactile understanding, and visual observation with our own eyes.
Bony structures, sutures, the dura mater, pia mater, sinuses, bridging veins, the vermis, or the cauda equina – all these structures, which cannot be touched otherwise, can be studied and explored at different levels of dissection in the specimens. The various tissues, the course and points of entry and exit of cranial nerves and vessels, holding the brain in your own hands – all these will leave lasting mental images and seamlessly integrate with new tactile impressions and personal experiences, potentially leading to new insights.
This course offers a highly immersive experience and provides a unique learning atmosphere that will undoubtedly have a long-lasting impact.
