Physiomed-Dannenberg

In our training and professional development programs, we frequently observe the challenge that course participants face in mentally visualizing the three-dimensional aspects of the human body, thus gaining an understanding of the structures within the visceral, cranial, and parietal systems.

In our course, our goal is to overcome this mental barrier and simplify the translation of acquired knowledge into practical application. By doing so, you will be able to perceive your patients from a fresh perspective and develop an enhanced understanding for targeted therapies.

Learning Concept:

This course series is specifically designed to meet the therapeutic needs and aligns with everyday therapeutic practice.

Our objective is to refresh and deepen the anatomical knowledge acquired during training and professional career, focusing on the relevant body regions covered in each course.

The courses take place in the dissection rooms of the Anatomical Institute of Charité. All courses are hands-on, providing participants with a direct and tactile experience. Engaging with specially prepared anatomical specimens and exploring the various tissues and their structural characteristics naturally fosters discussions among fellow participants and instructors, enabling all participants to achieve the course objectives.

Course Topics:

  1. Cranial and Visceral Interconnections
  2. Visceral and Parietal Interconnections

Dates:

  • You can find the schedule on our partner's website.
  • Each course lasts 2-3 days.

Visceral/parietal interconnection

Course Content:

  • Anatomy of the abdominal organs and diaphragms
  • Neural and fascial correlations to the viscera
  • Practical explanation of visceral, parietal, and cranial interrelationships
  •

Course Objective:

  • The anatomical specimens will provide a clear understanding of the positions of the visceral structures.
  • Practical examples will illustrate the complex relationships among the body structures to the course participants.
  • Treatment approaches and targeted therapeutic pathways will be explained using the specimens.
  • The use of digital technology and augmented reality (AR) will complement the anatomical specimens effectively.
  • If desired by the participants, there will be an opportunity to directly apply the in-depth anatomical knowledge to practice, reviewing techniques and maneuvers during the course.

Craniel/Visceral Connection

Course Content:

  • Anatomy of the craniosacral system and diaphragms
  • Neural correlations to the viscera
  • Practical explanation of sympathetic and parasympathetic visceral, parietal, and cranial interrelationships

Course Objective:

  • The anatomical specimens will provide a clear understanding of the positions of cranial structures.
  • Practical examples will illustrate the complex relationships among the craniosacral structures to the course participants.
